A veneer is a thin, tooth-colored shell placed on the front of a tooth to transform its appearance. At Restoration Smiles: Adult & Pediatric Dentistry, we have veneers custom-made out of either porcelain or composite resin material and then bonded onto the tooth's surface.

The Process of Veneers

To prepare your tooth surface for the veneer placement, our dentists will remove a small amount of enamel from the front of the tooth. After the tooth has been reshaped, our dentists will carefully bond the veneer to the surface of the tooth using a particular type of cement. The veneer will be hardened in place with a curing light and then polished to give you a natural-looking smile!
